Print this article Jon Hamm may be best known for his dramatic turn as Don Draper in "Mad Men," but he has also shown he has some comedic talent. Thanks to small roles in "30 Rock" and the hit comedy "Bridesmaids," directors seem to have taken note and Hamm is reportedly set to appear in funnyman Larry David's next movie, Cinemablend reports.
The film does not have a title and details are scarce, but it will be David's first movie since 1998's "Sour Grapes." Sources say the film will very closely resemble "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and will star David in a very true-to-form character. Hamm's role is very much shrouded in mystery as well, but according to the website he'll likely be playing the film's villain.
Outside of his comedic work on "30 Rock" and "Bridesmaids," Hamm has become a regular on "Saturday Night Live." He has hosted the program twice (in 2008 and 2010) and also made several cameos over the last several seasons.
To get ready for Hamm's role in David's next big screen endeavor, fans can check out one of his most recent movies, "The Town."
