Print this article Fresh off his breakout Oscar win for "The Artist," it looks like French actor Jean Dujardin is slated to appear in another movie with high aspirations. Dujardin is reportedly in talks to co-star in Martin Scorsese's next movie "The Wolf of Wall Street," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The financial thriller is a big screen adaptation of a novel of the same name, and already has an impressive cast. Leonardo DiCaprio, who has collaborated with Scorsese several times before, will play main character (and the novel's author) Jordan Belfort. Belfort was a stockbroker who served 20 months in prison for fraud on Wall Street.
Jonah Hill and "Friday Night Lights" actor Kyle Chandler are also attached to the project. As for Dujardin, he is expected to play the role of Jean-Jacques Handali, a Swiss banker who helps Belfort launder money, the publication reports.
Filming is set to begin in August, but has no release date as of yet. To get ready for the movie, Scorsese fans can watch some of his other best movies including "The Departed" and the classic film "Goodfellas."
