(We do not collect these names or emails!)Some of the best films of recent years have seamlessly combined comedy and drama to create a truly moving cinematic experience, and such is the case with "Jeff, Who Lives at Home." Thanks to an all-star cast and a quirky script, the indie movie hits its mark. The new release DVD comes to shelves June 19.
The movie follows Jeff (Jason Segel), who at 30-years-old still lives with his parents while obsessively looking for his destiny in random coincidental occurrences. His brother Pat (Ed Helms) is fed up with his Jeff's behavior and is simultaneously grappling with the reality that his wife may be cheating on him.
Jeff and Pat aren't the only members of their family headed toward an emotional revelation either. Their mother Sharon (Susan Sarandon) has been getting messages from a secret admirer at her job. Eventually, the three of their lives come to a head, forcing them all to make some significant life decisions.
Though it has its dramatic moments, the movie still makes viewers laugh. Other films that have done this especially well include "Little Miss Sunshine" and most recently "50/50."
