Despite being shortened and moved to Fridays for next season, the NBC comedy series "Community" is clearly a hit with critics. The cult favorite led the way with six nominations at for the Critics' Choice Television Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Community" was the big winner for NBC, which earned the most nominations of any network with 14. In addition to being nominated for Best Comedy Series, Joel McHale earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, while Jim Rash and Danny Pudi each are up for the supporting category. Gillian Jacobs and Alison Brie are also nominated for supporting actress.

Of course, "Community" was not the only series to score big. Fellow NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation" performed well, with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman earning acting nominations. Critical favorite "Modern Family" continued its hot streak with four nominations.

This is the second year for the awards, and winners are set to be announced June 18 in Beverly Hills. Last year, "Modern Family" and "Mad Men" both came home as the big winners, earning Best Comedy and Best Drama honors, respectively.
