Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler may team up for 'Three Mississippi'

Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell are two of the biggest comedians in Hollywood, and the duo may soon be joining forces. Sandler is reportedly in talks to star opposite Ferrell in his upcoming comedy movie "Three Mississippi," according to Vulture. The film, which focuses on two families who play a football game every Thanksgiving, was originally set to star Mark Wahlberg, reuniting him with Ferrell for the first time since "The Other Guys." However, due to some scheduling and financing issues, Wahlberg had to drop out, opening the door for Sandler. There's no confirmation just yet, but Sandler would reportedly be playing the patriarch of one family, while Ferrell would play the head of the other. The movie is expected to begin shooting sometime this fall and will be directed by Sean Anders, who was behind the camera for the surprise 2010 hit "Hot Tub Time Machine." To get ready for this potential dream pairing of comedy stars, fans may want to watch some of their best films including Ferrell's tour de force in  "Anchorman" and a young Sandler in "Billy Madison."
