Hunger Games coming to DVD in August

Print this article "The Hunger Games," which premiered in March, was one of the biggest movie events of the year, and soon fans who want to relive the exciting action movie again and again will be able to purchase their own DVD copy. The film will be released on DVD August 18th at midnight, with some special bonus features to boot.
The two-disc set will offer over three hours of bonus material. Hunger Games lovers will get to see a documentary about the making of the movie titled "The World is Watching: Making of The Hunger Games."
Those who saw the film on the big screen may remember a brief clip of a propaganda film shown toward the beginning of the two-hour movie. The entirety of that propaganda film will be on the DVD set, along with an interview from director Gary Ross.
Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, who played the lead roles in the movie, were a big part of the film's success. Those who are eager to see more of their work can check out Lawrence in "X-Men: First Class" and Hutcherson in "The Kids are Alright."
