"Breaking Bad" has widely been praised as one of the best shows on television, and its many fans will not have to wait long until its back on the air. AMC announced on Monday that the popular drama will premiere its fifth and final season on July 15, according to Paste magazine.

The show will bring back Emmy winner Bryan Cranston as Walter White - the chemistry teacher-turned-drug dealer - but there have been very little other details revealed about the potential plot. Everything seemed to wrap up relatively nicely at the end of the fourth season, so there has been rampant speculation.

Though it's getting an early start, the fifth season will still conclude at its normal spot in the year - AMC has decided to split the final season into two parts. Additionally, it won't be the only AMC show debuting on July 15. The second season of "Hell on Wheels" will be premiering the same day, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Fans who can't wait until July 15 can check out their favorite episodes through TV on DVD or watch other hit AMC series such as "The Walking Dead" and "Mad Men."
