A select group of viewers got the first glimpse of Quentin Tarantino's latest film "Django Unchained," and though it was a brief 10-minute scene, it seems like the legendary director has scored another hit. The clip was shown to a group of journalists at the Cannes Film Festival and was well received, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The clip did not reveal too much other than what has already been discussed, but it did offer a chance to see some of the movie's most famous actors in their roles. Christoph Waltz, who won an Oscar for "Inglourious Basterds," reportedly looks better than ever as a bounty hunter. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington also made appearances.

The preview was offered by Weinstein Company along with first looks at the latest from Paul Thomas Anderson and David O. Russell. According to the company's chairman Harvey Weinstein, all three should be big hits.

"These are some of the best films we have ever been associated with, if not the best," he said, according to the publication.

"Django Unchained" doesn't come out until December 25, but until then Tarantino fans can check out "Pulp Fiction" or "Kill Bill: Vol 1."
