Print this article The mother-daughter tandem of Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri worked together back in 2002, and it looks like they're getting ready to do it again. The pair are set to appear in the upcoming drama film "Mother's Day," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film focuses squarely on the the relationship between mothers and daughters, though it's unclear whether Sarandon and Amurri will be cast in roles that imitate real life. Having the pair play mother and daughter on screen wouldn't be unprecedented, however. They filled the roles in 2002's "The Banger Sisters."
Though Amurri has not quite reached the level of stardom as her mother, the 27-year-old actress has appeared in a number of big roles lately. In addition to a supporting part on season three of "Californication," she also enjoyed small parts on "How I Met Your Mother" and the Fox comedy hit "New Girl."
As for Sarandon, fans can watch some of her most classic roles including those in "Thelma and Louise" and "Dead Man Walking," for which she won an Academy Award.
