Print this article The 23rd James Bond movie "Skyfall" has not yet hit theaters, but the wheels are already in motion for next installment. According to the movie blog Den of Geek, the 24th Bond film is already slated to hit theaters toward the end of 2014.
Although the next Bond movie already has a tentative release date, virtually no other details are known about the film. Most importantly, it's unclear whether Daniel Craig, the current incarnation of James Bond, will be making his way back. "Skyfall," his his third film in the franchise, and he's only under contract for three, with an option for a fourth.
The news should be exciting to fans of the iconic secret agent. The previous Bond film, "Quantum of Solace," came out nearly four years ago, so the time in between movies is sped up considerably. Additionally, the website reports there were rumors of a "Skyfall" trailer debuting next month.
To get ready for the impending release of "Skyfall," fans of the franchise may want to re-watch their favorite installments including "Goldeneye" and "Casino Royale."
