(We do not collect these names or emails!)"30 Rock" entered groundbreaking territory last year when it broadcast two live shows - one for the East Coast and one for the West. As it gears up to do something few other comedy series have done for the second time, Tina Fey recently spoke with The New York Times about what fans can look forward to.
The episode was a hit last year, and Fey says they have director Beth McCarthy-Miller on board to helm the project once again. She also shared some details on the plot, which will focus on the efforts of Kenneth (Jack McBryaer), who tries to convince everyone live television is better than recorded shows. Fey noted that the cast and crew has learned a thing or two from their last performance.
"The other thing we learned is that there’s no way the show’s ever going to have the same feel as a filmed episode, so this time we’ve just let it have a different style and structure," she told the Times.
The live episode comes amid rumors that the forthcoming season of the show may be its last. When that happens, fans can check out reruns through TV on DVD as well as similar shows including "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation."
