Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce may join 'Iron Man 3'

Print this article The next film in the "Iron Man" franchise is still on the horizon, but it is quickly picking up big name cast additions. Jessica Chastain, who had a breakout role in 2011's "The Help," is reportedly in talks to play a supporting role in "Iron Man 3," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The news comes after other rumors that hinted Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley would be playing the villain in the upcoming superhero movie. Furthermore, "Memento" star Guy Pearce's name has been floated around as a possible addition to the cast, the publication reports.
Having an all-star cast would certainly follow suit with the series previous two films. Along with Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow (who have appeared in both movies), the previous films have also featured the likes of Jeff Bridges, Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansson and Don Cheadle.
"Iron Man" fans can see Downey's superhero in the upcoming movie "The Avengers," which hits theaters on May 4. They may also want to check out Downey's Oscar-nominated turn in the comedy "Tropic Thunder."
