Rocksteady Studios announced the release of "Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition," which will include every previous update along with some new downloadable content, Gamespot.com reports.
The new edition of the wildly popular game is set to hit shelves on May 29 in North America, and then in Europe on September 7. The most anticipated new features are likely a number of new add-ons that let players use Catwoman, Robin and the rarely seen Nightwing.
Along with the increased number of gameplay options, those who purchase the special edition will also be given the animated movie "Batman: Year One," according to the website.
It's a good move to release a new version of the game seeing as how it was both a critical and commercial success in 2011. The sequel to "Batman: Arkham Asylum," it was originally released in November, it has shipped an impressive 6 million units.
