Emily Blunt to star alongside Tom Cruise in sci-fi thriller

Emily Blunt has quickly risen to become an A-list actress. In addition to five movies released in 2012, she was recently added to cast of an upcoming big-budget action movie. Blunt signed on to "All You Need is Kill," alongside Tom Cruise, Variety reports. Details on the project are scarce, but it is a science-fiction movie that stars Cruise as a soldier in an alien war that ends up stuck reliving the day of his death over and over. Blunt is expected to co-star as a fellow soldier, though it's unclear exactly what her role will be in the plot. Not only is Blunt attached to star alongside Cruise, but it looks as though she may also be acting alongside another big name star - Johnny Depp. According to The Huffington Post, she's in discussions to be in the reboot of "The Thin Man." Before Blunt's name starts appearing on every movie poster, fans may want to remind themselves of some of her best roles including "The Devil Wears Prada" and "The Adjustment Bureau."
