Print this article One of this generations most famous actresses appears ready to portray one of yesteryear's iconic faces. Nicole Kidman is reportedly in talks to play Grace Kelly in the upcoming biopic "Grace of Monaco," AOL's Moviefone reports.
There are few details available about the film, but early reports indicate that it will not focus very much on the actress's work on screen. Instead, it will focus more on her life as the Princess of Monaco, when she helped stop a coup. The movie is set to be directed by Oliver Dahan, who guided Marion Cotillard to an Oscar win in "La Vie en Rose."
Entertainment insiders are already speculating that the role could earn Kidman her second Academy Award for Best Actress. She previously won for playing Virginia Woolf in 2002's "The Hours," and was also nominated for "Moulin Rouge" and "Rabbit Hole."
The historical biopic is expected to start shooting sometime this summer, but until then Kidman fans can get ready by watching similar movies including the 2010 Best Picture winner "The King's Speech."
