The "Parks and Recreation" season finale is still months away, but details are already starting to emerge. It will be difficult for anybody to release any spoilers, though, since the show is filmed two separate endings for the final episode, Deadline reports.

The decision to film two endings may seem like it was made because of the show's uncertain future (it has yet to be renewed for next season). However, producers maintain it was more of a creative decision given the season's focus on Leslie Knope's (Amy Poehler) campaign for city council.

Show creator Michael Schur discussed the two scenes with the website and said they chose to film both for a pair of reasons. Producers wanted to keep their options open in case they changed their mind on how it should end, but they also wanted to keep fans of the show on their toes.

Those who can't wait for the finale can check out other seasons of the show through TV on DVD and also watch similar series including "Chuck" and "Community."
