Trio of funnymen pace 'The Big Year'

Having an ensemble cast can sometimes be a dangerous move. While it provides a movie with a great deal of talent, that same amount of star power can bring it down. However, "The Big Year" avoids such complications and succeeds with it's all-star cast. The hilarious DVD hits shelves January 31. The movie follows three strangers Stu (Steve Martin), Brad (Jack Black) and Kenny (Owen Wilson), all of whom are at a crossroads. All of them have their separate obstacles to overcome and choose to do so while competing in one of the biggest bird watching competitions in the United States. The competition takes places over the course of a year and takes Stu, Brad and Kenny all over the country in search of the rarest bird. Though the goal is to come home the winner, the trio may end up taking away something even more valuable. To see these actors in some other films, movie fans can watch Black in "School of Rock," Wilson in "You, Me & Dupree" and the Martin comedy "It's Complicated."
