Elton John wants Justin Timberlake to play him

Elton John's career path is certainly a story worth telling and it is on its way to the big screen. The music legend recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about the progress being made on his much-anticipated biopic. The "Your Song" crooner certainly has a talented team working on it. He says that the production has chosen a director and the script, which was written by "Billy Elliot" scribe Lee Hall, is just in need of some fine tuning. As for who will play the man himself? Elton's got a few ideas but only one really sticks out. "I don't know. I've got a wish list of people," he told the Times. "Number one on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of 'Rocket Man' and was superb." If previous films based on music legends are any indication, a movie based off of Elton John's life will be a good one. Previous titles include the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line" and "The Doors."
