'Final Destination 5' continues popular series

The "Final Destination" series has been one of the longest running horror movies series of the last decade and its latest installment, "Final Destination 5" was one of the best reviewed. An upcoming cast powers the film which once again pits its main character in a chess match against death. The new release DVD hits shelves December 27. A group of coworkers are on a bus headed for a retreat when one of them, Sam (Nicholas D'Agosto), has a premonition that the bridge they are about to cross will collapse, killing almost everyone on board. His vision proves to be true and they escape but they are not out of danger. One by one the people who were supposed to die on the bridge end up meeting their untimely demise and it is up to Sam and the rest of the group to outwit death and save themselves from the fate of their friends. The franchise has become one of the more popular horror movies in recent memories along with titles such as "Saw" and "Hostel," both of which spawned several sequels.
