Ice Cube has come a long way from his days as a member of N.W.A. The rapper-turned actor has starred in a bevvy of movies including the family-friendly "Are We There Yet?" and is now setting his sights on being the lead in an upcoming television show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor, whose real name is O'Shea Jackson, is in talks to be in the FX series "Eye for an Eye," which is currently in development by Ice Cube's Cube Vision. Though little is known about the series, he would be appearing as a paramedic who becomes vigilante after seeing one too many crime scenes.

The series is just one of many projects that Ice Cube is currently working on. The publication reports that he is also the producer on a TBS series based off "Are We There Yet?" and will next be appearing in a film adaptation of "21 Jump Street."

Although there will be plenty of opportunity to check out Ice Cube in the coming months, some of his most famous roles are in the comedy movie "Friday" and "Barbershop."
