Louis C.K. returning to 'Parks and Recreation'

Fans of "Parks and Recreation" will certainly remember the several-episode arc featuring Louis C.K. in season two, and although he has gone on to headline his own show, the popular comic is about to head back to Pawnee. Louis C.K. will reprise his role as police officer Dave Sanderson sometime in early 2012, TVLine.com reports. The addition of the "Louie" star's character back into the show could cause some major conflict. Amy Poehler's Leslie dated Dave during his brief stint on the show, and his return could result in more tension between Leslie and ex-boyfriend Ben (Adam Scott), who are already on thin ice. The announcement is not only good news to fans but also to Poehler, who had previously said she wanted to have him return. "I would love to see Louis and Adam together," she told the website in March. "I think it would be very interesting to have [Dave and Ben] in the same room together." Fans of the NBC comedy may want to check out similar series through TV on DVD including the cult hit "Community" and longtime fan-favorite "The Office."
