Greg Kinnear to guest star on 'Modern Family'

The ABC comedy "Modern Family" is fresh off its second Emmy win in a row, so it's no surprise it is attracting some of the most talented stars in Hollywood. Edward Norton appeared on the show last year, and according to Entertainment Weekly, Greg Kinnear will be making a key guest appearance. Kinnear, who famously appeared on "Friends" in 2003, is attached to play Tad, a new business associate of Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell). There are not many details available as to exactly what his role will be other than that Phil will become quickly enamored by his successful new colleague. The episode is expected to hit small-screens sometime next year, the publication reports. In addition to Kinnear and Norton, "Modern Family" has had several other famous names lend a hand including Jennifer Tilly, Fred Willard and Nathan Lane. To get ready for the upcoming episode, fans of the series may want to watch some of Kinnear's best films including "Little Miss Sunshine" and "As Good as it Gets," which earned him an Academy Award nomination.
