Print this article Just days after announcing that legendary actor Albert Finney was on board for the latest James Bond movie, the film has an official title. Daniel Craig, who stars as the suave secret agent, said that the movie will be called "Skyfall," and director Sam Mendes also teased a few details, Deadline reports.
Although much of the plot remains hidden, filmmakers hinted that the story might test Bond's loyalty to M after some details of her past are revealed. This is the first Bond movie that Mendes, who won an Oscar for "American Beauty," has directed and he feels that Craig is perfect for the character.
"There will be plenty of surprises," Mendes told reporters. "The action needs to be balanced with the drama."
In addition to Craig and Finney, Mendes has an excellent cast to work with. Judi Dench will be back once again as M and Javier Bardem is on board to play the villain.
To get ready for the 23rd installment in the series, fans may want to start re-watching some of their favorite titles including "Live and Let Die" and "Goldeneye."
