Chord Overstreet headed back to 'Glee'

Despite Chord Overstreet's highly-publicized departure from the hit Fox show "Glee," it looks like the actor is headed back to the series. Overstreet and the show are in final talks to sign a deal that would have him back as a regular on the show starting with the eighth episode of this season, TVLine.com reports. Overstreet, who played the new character of Sam in last year's second season, was told over the summer that he was going to be dropped from the regular cast for the third. He was not pleased and decided to leave the show altogether rather than be a recurring character. Apparently, any bad blood between the two has dissipated. "We missed Chord and Chord missed us," a source close to the situation told the website. "It's a win-win." Exactly how Sam will be put back in the show remains to be seen. At the beginning of this season it was announced that his character moved out of state with his family. Fans of "Glee" may want to check out similar series including "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "Gossip Girl."
