Though Kevin Spacey is well-known for his dramatic roles in films such as "American Beauty" and "The Usual Suspects," he also has been known to give great comedic turns every know and then. He did just that in the comedy movie "Father of Invention," which comes to DVD October 25.

Robert Axle (Spacey) seems to be on top of the world after his invention makes him millions of dollars. However, everything falls apart once a design flaw is discovered in his invention that cuts off the fingers of its users. After serving eight years in prison, Robert is ready to get his life back together.

Unfortunately, that is proving much harder than he originally planned. His ex-wife has spent all of his money and moved in with her new husband and he has to live with his daughter, all while trying to pitch his new invention that will save his name.

Fans of Kevin Spacey who want to see his comedic chops at work will want to watch movies such as "Horrible Bosses" and "Fred Claus."
