Javier Bardem confirms he is the next Bond villain

If there's one thing that all James Bond movies have in common it is a memorable villain, and it looks like the next one will have just that. Oscar winner Javier Bardem recently confirmed to ABC Nightline that he will be playing the bad guy in the tentatively titled "Bond 23." The film will bring back Daniel Craig for his third turn as the famous secret agent and Judi Dench will reprise her role as M as well. However, the movie may take on a slightly different direction with new director Sam Mendes, who is best known as the man behind the film "American Beauty." Though he confirmed he was playing the villain, Bardem could not offer up any more details. "I am very excited, my parents took me to watch the movies, and I saw all of them, so to play that is going to be fun," he told the news program. "They chose me to play this man, but I cannot give you many details." Bond fans may want to catch up on some of the best movies in the series before the latest release by watching "Goldeneye" and "Casino Royale." Featured Titles: Goldeneye DVD $10.99
