Farmville movie may be on the way

Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow famously wrote the script for "Toy Story," and it looks like the pair is ready to team up once again for another groundbreaking film. The duo recently spoke with IGN.com and hinted that they may be working on a film adaptation of the popular Facebook game Farmville. The duo said that they were planning to return to writing films (they're currently writing the video game Skylanders Spyro's Adventures) and dropped a not-so-subtle hint as to what their project might be. "We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We're in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands," they told the website. "Can't really say too much on that front yet, but 'Old MacDonald' didn't have a factory, if you get our drift." While it might seem like an odd choice for the silver screen, there have been plenty of well-done film adaptations of video games over the last several years including "Resident Evil" and "Silent Hill."
