(We do not collect these names or emails!)Since his Oscar-winning turn in "The Pianist," Adrien Brody has become one of the most prolific leading men in Hollywood. In the 2011 thriller "Wrecked," Brody's emotive presence on screen helps push the dark film forward. The new release DVD hits stores August 30.
An unnamed man (Brody) wakes up after a violent car crash. He is covered in blood and has a broken leg and tries to piece together what happened while also attempting to escape the wreckage. He eventually deduces that he may be a man named Raymond who is the main suspect in an armed robbery - the bags of money and loaded gun in the car seem to confirm his suspicious.
Still, the man is lost in the woods and is struggling mightily to crawl out of the ravine he originally found himself in. Once he pulls himself out, he makes a stunning realization that changes everything he thought he knew.
Brody's character is struck with temporary amnesia in the movie, which may lead viewers to check out similar movies that address memory loss. Perhaps the most well-known is Christopher Nolan's innovative "Memento" or the Tom Cruise film "Vanilla Sky."
