Josh Groban to appear on 'The Office'

Now that Steve Carell's Michael Scott is gone, fans of "The Office" are already anticipating a much different season when the show kicks off on September 22. However, they may not have known just how much different, as Deadline reports singer Josh Groban will be making an appearance. Groban has signed on to play the brother of Andy Bernard (played by Ed Helms), and though nothing has been confirmed, given Andy's affinity for a capella, it would not be shocking to see Groban flex his famous pipes. This won't be Groban's first foray into the acting world, either. He famously appeared in "Ally McBeal," and most recently had a supporting role in the comedy-drama "Crazy, Stupid, Love." He also won't be the only guest star on hand, as James Spader has been tapped to serve as Michael Scott's replacement - at least for a while. Those who can't wait until the season eight premiere of "The Office" can catch up on other shows through TV on DVD. Similar titles include "Community" and "Outsourced."
