Print this article Thanks to movies such as "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz," Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have been one of the best comedy duos in recent years. The pair scored another hit this year with the sci-fi comedy "Paul." The star-studded new release DVD hits shelves August 9.
Greame (Pegg) and Clive (Frost) are two Englishmen who are fascinated by comic books and aliens. They come to the United States to take a road trip across the country, but stumble across an extraterrestrial named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) who is being pursued by the government.
Paul is being chased after he escaped from being held captive by government agent Lorenzo Zoil (Jason Bateman). He intends to return to his home planet, and it's up to Greame and Clive to get him back there.
Sci-fi and comedy rarely come together so nicely as they do in "Paul." However, there have been several movies over the years that manage to do just that, including the 80's classics "Back to the Future" and "Robocop."
