Print this article The list of stars attached to the upcoming Superman reboot "Man of Steel" keeps on growing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Laurence Fishburne has signed on to play Perry White, the editor of the fictional Daily Planet newspaper.
Fishburne joins an already-impressive cast. Henry Cavil is slated to portray Superman, and Amy Adams will play Lois Lane. The supporting roles are a veritable who's who of Hollywood as well, and include Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe and Diane Lane.
For Fishburne, the role will be his first since leaving "CSI" earlier this year, after choosing not to renew his contract. He is up for an Emmy for his role in the HBO movie "Thurgood" and is also slated to appear in the biological thriller "Contagion" later this year alongside Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet.
"Man of Steel" is expected to hit theaters in June 2013, and until then, fans of superhero movies can catch up with some of the most popular recent titles including "The Dark Knight" and "Fantastic Four."
