Edward Norton in talk to play villain in 'The Bourne Legacy'

When it was announced there would be a new film in the "Bourne" series, this time without Matt Damon, a lot of people wondered if it would be able to be as successful as the previous three. However, the way the cast of the latest movie "The Bourne Legacy," is shaping up, that should not be a problem. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Edward Norton is in talks to play the movie's main villain, and will join two-time Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner and Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, who are both attached to the project. The new movie will be somewhat of a divergence from the previous three in that it won't be based on a novel of the same name. Additionally, the character of Jason Bourne will not be appearing. The popular action movie trilogy was one of the best of the last decade, and fans of Matt Damon's performance may want to check him out in several other hit films including "Invictus" and "The Departed."
