Arnold Schwarzenegger set to return to big screen

Outside of a cameo in the 2010 action movie "The Expendables," it has been years since Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared in film, but that wait is apparently over. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former Governor of California is slated to appear in the upcoming Western "The Last Stand." The move is somewhat surprising given that Schwarzenegger recently said he would be delaying his comeback due to personal troubles. However, if he does indeed return to the silver screen with this film, it appears to be a good choice. The movie will be directed by South Korea's Kim Ji-woon, who will be making his United States debut with the project. The news source reports that Ji-woon has said it is a cross between "Die Hard" and "High Noon." The story focuses on a small-town sherrif who has to stand up to Mexican drug lords. This will be Schwarzenegger's first starring role since 2003's "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."
