Ed Helms get a dose of reality in 'Cedar Rapids'

In movies, when characters want to let loose they almost always head to Las Vegas. However, this is not the case in “Cedar Rapids,” when a lowly businessman finds himself in a completely different world when he travels to the small Iowa city. The new release DVD hits shelves June 21. Tim Lippe (Ed Helms) never thought he’d get out of his suburban Wisconsin life, but when he gets the chance to go on a business trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he leaps at the opportunity, not knowing what it has in store. Tasked with saving his company at an insurance convention, Tim is quickly surprised at the different way people live in the city. He encounters a wide cast of characters including Joan (Anne Heche) and Dean (John C. Reilly), who give him a new perspective on what people are really like. Though it offers ample raunchy comedy, “Cedar Rapids” also has heart.
