Print this article When it comes to James Bond movies, they all have one thing in common - an iconic female lead. From Halle Berry to Jane Seymour to Denise Richards, the so-called Bond girl is a must. According to Entertainment Weekly, producers of the upcoming "Bond 23" are in talks with Naomie Harris to fit the bill for the next film.
Although nothing has been set in stone, Harris has been confirmed to have met with the filmmakers. The English actress is likely best known for her starring role in "28 Days Later" as well as her supporting role in the second and third "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies.
According to the news source, little else is known about the movie. Daniel Craig will return for a third time to play James Bond, and the film is set to be directed by "American Beauty" director Sam Mendes. The villain is still up-in-the-air as well, but the news provider reports that rumors are swirling of it either being Javier Bardem or Ralph Fiennes.
