Chris Hemsworth in talks to star in 'Snow White and the Huntsman'

It look as if the demand for Chris Hemsworth is already picking up. The up-and-coming star is poised to have big summer thanks to the superhero movie "Thor," and according to Entertainment Weekly is in talks to star in "Snow White and the Huntsman." The project has gone through several other famous leading men to find who will play the titular Hunstman. Viggo Mortensen was in discussions with the production team but dropped out, and Hugh Jackman briefly considered the role. Hemsworth provides a much younger option as he is nearly half the age of Mortensen and 15 years the junior of Jackman. According to the news source, the film is already expected to have "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart star in the female lead, and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron is signed on to play the evil queen. The movie is certainly going to be a unique twist on the classic fairytale, but it won't be the first such film to put a spin on a favorite.
