Peyton Hillis chosen for 'Madden NFL 12' cover

The fans have spoken, and the latest installment of the Madden football franchise has a player gracing its cover. Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis will on the face of "Madden NFL 12," narrowly edging Eagles' quarterback Michael Vick for the honor. The much-anticipated Playstation 3 game comes out August 30, and IGN.com recently went over some of the new features to look for this year. Designers have reportedly gone to great lengths to provide painstakingly accurate details. Specifically, Madden '12 will feature realistic camera movements and angles. The offering is the result of the team analyzing hours of NFL Films footage. According to website, gamers will notice small changes such as scuffed helmets, a more accurate ball size and properly scaled heads. In addition to the added details, developers have also created more realistic gameplay. For example, collisions are more authentic and players will not have to adhere to rigid tackling functions that were present in years past. EA Sports has made a habit of producing some of the best sports video games around. For those who like the other football, "FIFA 11" is one of the best soccer games available.
