Every movie fan loves a heist film. From "Ocean's Eleven" to "The Italian Job," they're sure to have viewers on the edge of their seats. But what happens when the crew's scheme doesn't go according to plan? That's what happens to the team of thieves in the British thriller "Daylight Robbery," which hits shelves on February 15.

The film follows Alex (Geoff Bell), who devises a plan to steal millions of dollars worth of untraceable bills from The London Exchange Bank. He uses the World Cup in Germany as an alibi and effectively covers their tracks.

With a talented group of seasoned robbers, including Lucky (Vas Blackwood), Chubby (Paul Nicholls) and Terry (Johnny Harris), everything begins according to plan. However, the group is soon in over its head as it inadvertently holds 20 civilians hostage while the police barricade the bank.

The movie is the creation of writer-director Paris Leonti, and follows in the footsteps of several other popular British-made crime thrillers such as "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels."
