(We do not collect these names or emails!)Christopher Nolan has emerged as one of the most groundbreaking directors in recent years, but he was just another up-and-coming filmmaker until the release of his innovative thriller "Memento" a decade ago. In honor of the 10-year anniversary of its debut, the movie will be screened at 11 cinemas throughout the United States and Canada on February 17, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 2000 film follows Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce), a man with amnesia attempting to solve the murder and rape of his wife. The story is told through a non-linear timeline and alternates between two different sequences of events, one told in chronological order and the other in reverse. The complex story earned Nolan an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
The exclusive screening will feature new footage and comes in advance of a special edition Blu-Ray that will be released on February 22.
Since the film's release, Nolan has made a name for himself by challenging audiences with complex films including the Batman reboot "The Dark Knight," and the mind bending Best Picture nominee "Inception."
