(We do not collect these names or emails!)Director David O. Russell may have been nominated for an Oscar for his work on "The Fighter," but the guy wasn't alone. Christian Bale earned a nod for Best Supporting Actor while both Amy Adams and Melissa Leo are up for Best Supporting Actress.
Russell recently spoke with the Hollywood Reporter and admitted that he's been having a tough time deciding which talented lady should take home the prestigious award on Hollywood's biggest night.
"They are all like my children, my family, at this point," he told the news outlet. "I want them both to be rewarded for their amazing performances. Thankfully, it's not my choice. If it was, I'd be living through 'Sophie's Choice.'"
Although Russell refuses to take sides, movie insiders haven't been shy about placing bets on who has the greater chance of winning the award. Rumors are swirling that Leo is a shoo-in to make her way to the podium February 27.
Although this is Russell's first Oscar nomination, the director has earned endless accolades for his work on "Three Kings" and "I Heart Huckabees."
