Considering Arnold Schwarzenegger won't be returning to the California governor office this year, many moviegoers continue to wonder if he'll ever return to show business. Unfortunately, it looks as though the odds are not in favor of him making a comeback.

In fact, Entertainment Weekly recently chatted with Ivan Reitman, who directed Schwarzenegger in the comedy hits "Twins" and "Kindergarten Cop" and admitted the muscle man will likely remain devoted to his second career.

"I had a lovely talk with him about a month ago, and my guess is he will continue in government work," Reitman told the news outlet. "He's joked around about coming back to acting, but I think really he would like to do something serious."

Reitman went onto say that the "Pumping Iron" star may run for another public office or begin advocating for notable causes.

Schwarzenegger's movie career has reached somewhat of a standstill over the past decade, with his last starring role being the 2003 action-adventure "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."
