Print this article It's been less than two months since Leslie Nielsen passed away, leaving the world with the memory of his many talents. Thankfully, his comedic skills are on display in "Stonerville," a hysterical romp that will finally be released on January 11.
The film follows Slacker "Slam" Slamsky (Patrick Cavanaugh) a pot-smoking goof-off who has dreams of succeeding at the advertising agency where he works. However, his lackadaisical attitude soon costs him both his job and his girl.
Things change when Erica (Alex Mauriello) notices his smooth computer skills, offering the guy a comeback in the viral video world. It's then that he tries to woo the new woman in his life.
By the looks of the trailer, it appears as though Nielsen plays a film producer who becomes entangled in Slam's antics.
While "Stonerville" is likely to provide a number of laughs, moviegoers might enjoy some of his other well-known projects. "Airplane" and "The Naked Gun" have acquired a cult following throughout the years.
