Most people adore Steve Carell from his endless shenanigans on "The Office," but the talented performer has a knack for lighting up the screen in every one of his projects. His skills are once again on display in "Dinner for Schmucks," a laugh-out-loud comedy that will be available on DVD January 4.

The film tells the story of Tim Conrad (Paul Rudd), a financial executive whose boss hosts a dinner party where people are asked to bring the most pathetic person they can find. A short while later, Tim meets Barry (Carell), who seems like the perfect candidate. However, when Barry shows up to the shindig, it's not him who winds up looking like a loser.

"Dinner for Schmucks" also features "The Hangover" breakout star Zach Galifianakis and "Office Space" actor Ron Livingston.

While Carell's film career is going strong, the actor may be taking a break from the small screen in the near future. In fact, he recently announced that this season of "The Office" will be his last.
