It's rare to find a documentary so thrilling and unforgettable that is stays with you long after the credits roll, but it's safe to say "Catfish" is one of those films. The DVD will finally be available for purchase January 4.

Filmmakers Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman capture the events that transpire when Schulman's brother Nev is contacted by a young girl named Abby. From there he becomes Facebook friends with her family, including her attractive 19-year-old sister, Megan.

When Nev starts to become suspicious of Megan's intentions, he makes a surprise trip to see her. It's there that events take a turn he could have never predicted.

While some moviegoers have doubted the authenticity of the film, Joost and Schulman insist that the events shown in their footage are 100 percent real.

Although "Catfish" is an incredible movie experience, there are other documentaries out there that fans may enjoy as well. Both "Man on Wire" and "The Cove" won Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature.
