The "Shrek" franchise has been keeping families entertained for years, and the most recent chapter in the series, "Shrek Forever After," is a wonderful continuation of the story. Home audiences will be pleased to learn that the film will be available for purchase on December 7.

Mike Myers once again voices Shrek, who is now married to Fiona (Cameron Diaz) and living the life of a family man. However, the loveable green ogre misses the days when he was just a normal creature without a care in the world.

Shrek runs into Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn), who offers him a deal - one day of freedom in exchange for erasing a single day from his childhood. Soon after he signs the contract, Shrek realizes what matters most to him in the world.

While "Shrek Forever After" is a wonderful film, families may enjoy catching up on the past chapters of the franchise as well. Both "Shrek" and its sequel, "Shrek 2," continue to be beloved by moviegoers around the globe.
