(We do not collect these names or emails!)Will 2011 be the year that either Julianne Moore or Annette Bening finally have an Oscar in their hands? While both actresses have been nominated for the prestigious award multiple times, neither has yet to hear their name announced on Hollywood's biggest night.
The hilarious romp "The Kids Are All Right," which will finally be released on November 9, may do the trick - critics have been raving about each of their performances.
The film stars Moore and Benning as Jules and Nic, a lesbian couple with two children, Joni (Mia Wasikowska) and Laser (Josh Hutcherson). Both their son and daughter were conceived via artificial insemination.
When Joni celebrates her 18th birthday and gets ready to head off to college, Laser convinces her to seek out their birth father. She soon locates Paul (Mark Ruffalo), yet his presence in their lives begins to complicate matters in several unexpected ways.
Bening has been nominated for three Oscars, including the beloved film "American Beauty," while Moore has earned four Academy Award nominations throughout her career, including a nod for the 1997 drama "Boogie Nights."
