Colin Farrell appears in "Triage"

Colin Farrell offers a wonderful performance in "Triage," a beautiful war movie that is scheduled to be released on DVD Tuesday, August 10. The film was adapted from the novel of the same name by esteemed war correspondent Scott Anderson. The story centers on Mark Walsh (Farrell), a photojournalist who was working in Kurdistan. After he is badly injured in the torn nation, the broken man returns home. However, Mark is unable to put the memories of war and destruction out of his mind. As the film progresses, he works to solve the mystery of the disappearance of David (Jamie Sives), his friend and colleague, and also struggles to work on his relationship with his wife, Elena (Paz Vega). "Triage" features a number of adored actors in its cast. In fact, Entertainment Weekly hailed Farrell as "older, wiser, and delivering the best work of his career." And while the Irish-born actor is respected among Hollywood elite, Vega should be commended as well. In fact, the Latina actress starred in the comedy-drama "Spanglish" along with Adam Sandler, and won the hearts of audiences with her performance in "10 Items or Less," which also starred Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman. Another fine actor making an appearance in the film is Christopher Lee, who plays Elena's estranged grandfather, Joaquín. Lee has appeared in huge blockbuster hits such as "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," as Saruman the White, and "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones" as Count Dooku.
