Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan are electrifying in "The Ghost Writer"

Ewan McGregor is considered to be one of the most versatile working actors in Hollywood, and it's easy to see why. The Scottish actor gives the performance of his lifetime in "The Ghost Writer," one of his best films since the iconic "Trainspotting." McGregor stars as an untitled character who is hired to become a ghostwriter for former British Prime Minister Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan). After leaving his post in the United Kingdom, Lang retires to the United States with his wife, Ruth (Olivia Williams). While working on the project, the ghostwriter unintentionally uncovers hidden secrets about the former leader. It isn't long before he is chasing down the truth while running for his life. "The Ghost Writer" accrued several accolades upon its release. In fact, at the Berlin Film Festival, director Roman Polanski was nominated for the prestigious Golden Bear Award and took home the Silver Bear Award.
