(We do not collect these names or emails!)Joan Cusack has had an enormously successful film career - aside from being nominated for two Academy Awards for her performances in "In & Out" and "Working Girl," she has appeared in scores of movies since 1980.
The revered actress shows her talents once again in "Acceptance," a quirky comedy that is a treat for all ages.
The film centers on Taylor Rockefeller (Mae Whitman), a high school senior who is deciding where to go to college. She has two best friends, Harry (Jonathan Keltz) and Maya (Deepti Daryanani), both of whom are determined to get into a top school.
Adding stress to her situation is Taylor's mother, Nina (Cusack). The headstrong woman wants her daughter to go to the best university, but when Taylor chooses Yates College, the mom and daughter begin to butt heads.
While Whitman is an up-and-coming actress, people may recognize the young actresses' voice from other projects. The 12-year-old played Annaleigh Quagmire in the animated television hit "Family Guy" for seven episodes, and also lent her voice to "Avatar: The Last Airbender" for three years, where she played the character Katara.
