"Chloe" is an intense psychological thriller

If Amanda Seyfried is looking to shed her good-girl status, she certainly succeeds in the film "Chloe." The thriller, which also stars Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson, will be released on DVD July 13. Moore plays Catherine Stewart, a doctor who is married to David (Neeson), a respectable music professor. The couple seems to have it all, yet Catherine suspects that David is being unfaithful. When Catherine unexpectedly meets a beautiful escort named Chloe (Seyfried), she hires her to test her husband's loyalty. However, as the prostitute's reports become more descriptive, Catherine realizes her experiment may have gone too far. It looks like Moore has been choosing a variety of projects over the past few years. In fact, she recently starred in "A Single Man" as the boozy best friend to Colin Firth's character, George Falconer, and appeared alongside Robin Wright Penn in "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee," where she played a dominatrix named Kat.
